Why do we need to complete a Puppy Questionnaire?

Our 1st Step!

We request from all potential puppy families the completion of our on-line Puppy Questionnaire. For H2O PWDs, it’s of the upmost importance to match the appropriate puppy with their forever family. We do this to create a lifetime of success for both the puppy and family. For this reason, we want to learn about you, members of your family and the home environment in which the puppy will be raised. Please be prepared to answer many questions and be willing to develop a relationship with us. We ask you to view this as a way for us to understand what you really want from your new puppy family member.  We NEED you to be open and honest with all of your answers for this new family member to be a success.

Once we have had an opportunity to review your puppy questionnaire, we look forward to having a phone/zoom meet & greet. This allows both H2O PWDs & our potential extended families to discuss any outstanding questions and/or clarifications from the Puppy Questionnaire. We are also open to answering any other questions you may have regarding the breed and our dogs. In this step, we are delighted to offer our new families any references they would like to request from us. As well, we request references (3) from you. This is to further strengthen our decision to match the appropriate puppy with their forever family.

The next step is the most fun for us and you. We welcome you to meet with us and our dogs. This will give you an opportunity to see how we raise our dogs and experience their wonderful personalities directly.

We ask all potential puppy families to fill out our online questionnaire. It’s highly important that we match the right puppy with its forever family. We do this to create a lifetime of success for the puppy and family. 

To make the right match, we need to learn about you, your family members and the home environment where the puppy will be raised. Please be prepared to answer many questions and be ready to invest in a relationship with us. For this pairing to succeed, we need you to be honest with all of your answers!
What’s the next step after the questionnaire?

After you’ve filled out the form, we’ll reach out to you to schedule a zoom call/phone call. This is where you can ask all your questions and clarify any doubts you have. You can ask us in-depth about the dogs and their breeds. We’ll also discuss any outstanding questions or ask for clarifications if needed. You can ask us for references, and we’ll also request 3 references for you. This further helps us make the right decision in matching the appropriate puppy with its forever family.
When do we get to meet our new 4-legged family member?
After the phone call comes the most fun part, we invite you to come over and meet our dogs and us! This will allow you to see how we raise our dogs and experience their wonderful personalities directly!
